As this is the only show I will go to all year that is ALL PINK EVERYTHING- this was, of course, so much fun to be at! I was reunited with one of my buddies from Congress, Jax who remembered me and was so cute, and I got to hang out with The Equine Chronicle Gordon all weekend!
The show even finished early enough Sunday to do some St. Louis tourist things like see the Arch with my room mate for the weekend, Jenn!! Thank you so much Doug, Tara and Millie for having me at the March To The Arch!
As the Congress Queen I want to attend the top 10 AQHA Shows in the country! Which is why I have been traveling to so many things and often going to a few different shows the Queen doesn't normally attend!
As one of the top shows in the country (and Arizona sun sounding very appealing in March!) I was off to see the best of the best. This show did not disappoint. In addition to the huge classes and beautiful facility, the show management gave away over $10,000 in random prizes with famed contests during some of the biggest classes of the show. Such as... a bouncy horse race, a wine glass race, mimosa jumping challenge! and a BACKWARDS western pleasure lope race.
Back home for just a few days, and I figured I would put on my annual Cancer Benefit show for Nellie's Champions for Kids! just kidding.. I have been planning this show all year since last July when the show was held previously.
Our entries were up and our fundraising goal was up! The goal this year is $10,000! The horse show itself brought in about $4400 and with my 10 company Horse Power Team doubling what we brought in our total donation to NC4K will be $8800!
The show went so well and I am well on my way to my $10K goal set to be finished up in October at NC4K's fashion show.
Thanks again to Ginger Horse Studio for coming and taking the photos that can be seen here!

I'm waiting for my second flight in Chicago and I can't believe how fast this week flew by. I'm already missing all my new friends, and a few old friends 😉! This show will stay with me for a long time, a favorite this year by far! The Silver Dollar Circuit has blown up in popularity this year too! Everyday was tons of give aways, including a Shorty's hat, $500, bits, headstalls and TONS more. This show knew just how to put me to work with a youth scavenger hunt one day, chaps race another day, and a hat toss competition at one point! Even though I had lots of duties and jobs, I was kept laughing and happy the entire time. I was even featured in an article in their 'Daily Stride'! Jan was a phenomenal manager, all the show staff was incredible, and she hosts a wonderful show at the South Point Hotel and Casino. I truly felt special and part of the Silver Dollar family!
