If you haven't already cleared your schedule to make it to the Queen's Banquet on the 23rd during the Scqhya Show & Ken Smith Maxi Circuit, be sure you do💖 This year we are happy to announce that we will have a VERY special guest attending! This special guest will also be crowned the King👑 for the day and will get to hand out the awards for the Youth's Bouncy Horse Race Fundraiser! We are proud to announce that this special guest is Mr. William Hodges.
William Hodges, 6, is from Monroe, North Carolina where he is a rising 1st grader at Union Academy. He was diagnosed with Severe Hemophilia A at the age of 1, which means that his blood does not clot. He is a patient with St. Jude Affiliate Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hemophilia is a painful and unpredictable disease. Will can go from being fine to suffering from severe bleeds very quickly. Will’s joints have always hurt him as this is where most of his bleeds occur. Will’s life involves major constraints, including not being able to play any sports and not even being able to ride a bike. He is currently on a new weekly shot called Hemlibra which is making it possible for him to live a more active lifestyle. When William is not in school or at the doctor’s office he enjoys building Legos, singing, watching Netflix, and making everybody smile. We are so lucky to have Will joining us this year. Please come celebrate with us!
